This was my first project with Razorfish LA under the oversight of Eric Loyer. The project had come out of the Razorfish NY office and made our office responsible for the information architecture.

The opportunity was to update and extend another Schwab & Company financial product to the Razorfish global design. We were required to organize Schwab’s retirement services products and create task flows that helped users feel informed and secure in their transactions.

Much of the content had already been organized by product in a print environment, but still needed to be translated for a “user-centered” experience. This required a keen understanding of how Schwab customers were accustomed to completing tasks on Schwab.com.

The project demanded attention to the micro details as Schwab conducted the majority of its business online through an interface that Razorfish had designed and implemented.

This was a true information design/architect assignment as the focus was on the organization of data into usable information. “God was in the details” on this one…
