ABOUT:PERSONAL

Personally speaking, I am first and foremost an evolving work of art. Yes, art… Aren’t you? I am trying to look back at my achievements and feel a sense of satisfaction. Looking back helps me to look forward so I can continue to refine and hone. I’ve only got the life I’m living- that I can remember -and its moving quickly. My dedication is to evolving my reaction to the world around me- moment by moment- to become a truly integrated being.

So… what else defines me? My beautiful wife holds up a mirror and shows me myself. She has been a blessing and a fascinating person to journey with. My amazing children teach me the uniqueness of each moment. My dog, Sunny, smiles with total joy.

On the sports front, I love hockey, tennis and most recently discovered kite boarding! These are the sports that if I could play for the rest of my days, I’d be in bliss. Other sports that I still enjoy are alpine and nordic skiing, road biking, inline skating, sailing and windsurfing. I hope to get more time at the sea in the next phase of life to work on surfing and kite boarding! In 1991, I received my first Dan in the martial art of Tang Soo Do. I’m looking for the next art that will be less hard-style and be more focused on energy movement.

On the creative front, I love story telling through moving images, namely digital video. It allows me to write out scripts; shoot the story; and finally, edit and add sound. It engages me fully. I hope to find the time to develop a physical art form in some kind of collage medium. On the musical front, I am now beginning piano lessons. Music is a language I will learn.

I currently live in Los Angeles and am engaged in working hard during each week and enjoying the company of children at week’s end. I coach my youngest son’s lacrosse team and my eldest on comic book art. Dig it…
